Did you know that mental/emotional health & physical health are connected? If one gets healthier, so does the other. The opposite is also true - if one is struggling, the other one will too.
For instance - if you struggle with daily, chronic stress the first to be affected is your mental/emotional state. Soon after, you'll start experiencing physical illnesses.
The longer you struggle with stress and mental anguish, the more your physical conditions worsen. Trust me - I know from personal experience.




Vacation for Health
You need to get away from the everyday, ordinary blahs. Take lots of mini-retreats as often as possible. Mini-retreats can be any length of time - from 30 minutes up to 4 days. They will infuse your being with healthy vibes.
Mini-retreats help maintain the health of your mind & body, giving it the boost it needs during the day to keep you from getting stressed out and overwhelmed.

Having a great tasting healthy dessert every day puts the fun back in eating. Or, go for the big one and have a piece of chocolate cake 1-2 times/week. If you like wine/beer - have a glass once a week.
If you hate exercising - stick to outdoor activities that you enjoy as long as it works your muscles & heart. Mixing strength activities with walking is also great. There's fun indoor activities as well. What's Always With You?
De-stress every day. Pamper yourself for 30 minutes everyday. Relax Your Mind or Go Cuckoo.
Laughter and boosting happy hormones are required daily. Stay in Your Happy Place.
Choose whole foods, not the processed junk. Avoid food chemicals: Toxic, Don't Buy Dirty.
When you start to feel GREAT because of your efforts.... then maybe shoot for a teensy bit more healthy! And then it hits you. WOW. You're rockin your healthy vibes - you look fantastic and you feel AWESOME.
The Fun Way to Healthy
Can you have fun and still get healthier?
Yes of course. Remember, life will never be fun and games every day, but you can choose to have more happy times. Here's what you DON'T have to do to get healthier and happier:
You don't have to go on strict diets or train like an Olympic athlete.
You don't have to worry about things beyond your control or having an off day. Don't beat yourself, just keep trying.
You don't need to set unrealistic goals, like getting healthier in 30 days. If it takes you 6 months or more - you can still celebrate after every milestone.
Hi there, my name's Jennifer - that's me on the right. I started my first job in high school, and since then I've been living in a box with 4 walls, devoting much of my energy to climbing the corporate job ladder.
By age 30, I knew I wanted to get myself in better health - to feel better and be the best I could be. I started walking 3 days/week. And Now 30 years later, I'm working out 6 days/week and I'm stronger and healthier than I was at 30.
By age 40, I realized I was missing a big component - staying healthier with the foods I eat and using natural remedies. My knowledge and personal successes have been growing over the years.
Sadly though - my dreams for travel & adventure got lost in piles under my office desk. As I mentioned above, travel is an important element for rockin healthy vibes.


Something About Me
What I forgot to take into consideration for most of my healthy journey was this: sitting at a desk for 10 or more hours every day, and the chronic stress that cames with certain jobs. The sitting & stress really jacked everything up - mental, emotional, and physical health. It caused weight gain, loss of sleep, and a desperation that started to consume me. Despite all my efforts to regain my health failed.
Eventually I realized - No job is worth such a severe price and loss of health. So I quit. Now I'm working for myself away from the corporate world and thanks to the good Lord, I'm doing what I love - traveling and rockin my healthy vibes.

Join me on a journey to becoming the best version of happy and healthy you can be. Use things that make you smile to fuel your drive. If you love skiing or bicycling - use it. If you love a delicious cheesecake - try an amazing healthy version. If you want a better quality of life, to travel, to live with a sense of freedom.... then let's get started today.
Here's what I start with every day to mentally prepare myself for any challenges ahead - I pray. It gives me strength, comfort, security, and confidence. If I happen to miss it one morning, I usually end up face planting!
It's also important for me to make time for exercise/outdoor activities, friends, mini-retreats, and volunteering - all of which boost health.
I still have to work on minimizing stress so it can't control me. I'm also learning how to enjoy the moment, instead of worrying about yesterday or tomorrow..... yeah, still working on that one.
And, I'm learning how to balance myself by resting & relaxing when I need it which keeps me feeling energetic and restored. Remember - if it's worth having it's going to take a little work to get it.... and keep it.
